Outdoor Learning Areas
West Ottawa Public Schools added outdoor learning spaces at elementary campuses in summer 2025, extending the classroom beyond the building. Each space includes log-style seating, shade structures, and amphitheater-style areas, along with sand play, landscaping, and secure fencing to create safe, flexible environments. These additions support hands-on learning, collaboration, and outdoor education while enhancing the overall student experience.
Waukazoo Elementary Addition
