2nd Grade Site Tour

We had so much fun taking Mrs. Haight's 2nd grade class to get a sneak peek of the new gym addition at Sheldon Woods Elementary at West Ottawa Public Schools and hearing their inquiring minds ask all kinds of questions about the features of the new gym such as...

Why are there so many basketball hoops and how do they move up and down?

Will there be air conditioning?

How do the lights work?

Will there be a bench (aka bleachers) to sit on?

Where will the gym teacher put all the equipment?

And most importantly WHEN are they going to get to have gym class in there??

Mr. Drew was there to answer their questions and let them know that we're working hard to finish this project up, but they're going to have to wait until the next school year to get to play basketball in their new space!
